Malcolm Gordon Obituary

Malcolm Gordon, age 70 of Hopkins, passed away March 20th, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sol and Pini Gordon; his sister, Myra Fishman and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Howard and Gen Erickson. He is survived by his wife, Deb Gordon; niece, Sara Grimaldi (Dave Jurisz); great nephew, Sollie; brother-in-law, Ray Fishman; many more loving nieces, nephews and an entire tribe of in-laws. We can't talk about Malcolm without talking about the love he had for his friends and family. No matter how much you loved Malcolm, you were loved even more in return. One of his closest friends put it best when he said that Malcolm was, very simply, "the nicest person he ever knew". Another friend said that the world is "substantially less beautiful without Malcolm and that he was one of the kindest, sweetest, funniest, and most genuinely generous people he'd ever known". Malcolm was the definition of a mensch and he will be missed dearly. Funeral service Wednesday, March 23rd at 1:00pm at Temple Israel, 2323 Fremont Ave. S, Mpls. Shiva Wednesday and Thursday, 7pm at the Gordon Residence. All services also on zoom, email [email protected] for the link. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donors' favorite charity.
