Special thanks to the staff at Arthur B. Hodges Nursing Home for the care and compassion shown to her throughout her stay and especially in her final days. Her final moments were spent with her family watching a WVU football game and listening to her favorite song, Amazing Grace.
The family has entrusted the arrangements to Bartlett-Nichols Funeral Home in St. Albans, WV.
A private celebration will be held later this week at the burial site with Father Chapin officiating. Maw Maw loved her sports. In the last 5 years of her life, she was bed-ridden and her tv was not allowed to be on any channel but SPORTS! In lieu of flowers and being that we are a "house-divided", the family kindly requests donations to be made to WV State University Athletic Program or University of Charleston Athletic Program in honor of Betty's memory.
