Marty Woodruff Obituary

Marty Woodruff, 68, passed from his earthly body to his heavenly home on Thursday, December 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Prentiss County, on May 20, 1956, to Gerald Woodruff and Dorothy Rampley Woodruff. Marty married the love of his life, Donna Bennett Woodruff, on June 16, 1978. He liked to mow yards, have cookouts, visiting Navarre Beach and FloBama. Marty was skilled in welding and auto body repair. He was a jack of all trades, and a master of none. He is survived by his wife, Donna; sons, Marty Woodruff, Jr. (Danielle) and Bryson Woodruff (Coral); daughter, Casandra Skelton (Andy); sister, Kathy Bevis (Bobby); grandchildren, Bryon Skelton, Montana Woodruff, Joy Skelton, Alexis Woodruff, Nathan Woodruff, and Emily Woodruff; great-grandson, John Andrew Skelton; uncle, Larry Woodruff (Susan); and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal and maternal grandparents; and his father and mother-in-law, Junior and Neva Bennett. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Booneville Funeral Home. Bro. Mark McCoy will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Booneville Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Mike Bennett, Joey Gross, Justin Provins, Byron Skelton, Joy Skelton, Sterling Hogeland and William Midkiff.
