Martha Kennedy Obituary
Services are 1 pm Wednesday, October 1, 2025 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Jesse Betts officiating. Burial will follow in the Casey Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tuesday, September 30, 2025 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.
Martha is survived by her daughters, Melissa Bean (Daniel) of Houlka and Penny Demary of Houlka; her sisters, Elaine Sanders of Pontotoc and Sam Alford of Manchester, TN; her grandchildren, Mary Demary, Sammy Scott Washington, Jr., Martha Edington, Tiffany Hardin (Josh), Mario Bean, Zykeria Bean and William Priest & his 4 children and her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Liam, Dustin, Dakota, Drake, Zevan, Austin and Zion.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Priest Grammer; her father, Thomas Priest; her step-father, RT Grammer; her husband, Joseph Wayne Kennedy; her sons, Joseph Wayne Kennedy, Jr. and Tony Priest; her sister, Minnie Lou Smith and her brothers, Mike, Buddy & Billy Priest.
Pallbearers are Daniel Bean, Pete Smith, Glen Kennedy, Sam Washington, Jr., Michael Stewart and Jr. Akers.
Honorary pallbearers are Jason, Justin, Dustin and Allen.
