Jarrett Franklin Dykes, 25, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at his home in Nettleton. He was born on April 1, 1999 in Amory to Tracy Smith and Kevin Dykes. Jarrett attended Amory schools and later graduated from the youth challenge academy at camp Shelby. Jarrett had a huge heart and would give the shirt off his back and his last dollar to a friend in need. He always was wanting to make people laugh. Probably his proudest moments were the births of his children Haygen Wren, Greyson Earl and Gunner Darren. He loved his babies dearly. This snap chat post from years ago gives Our family great peace in knowing Jarrett was a believer in Jesus Christ as his savior and it reads :Do you believe? That’s a great question but how many of us can answer that? One day we all will have to answer that question to the one and only God Himself. I have made a lot of mistakes but I do believe and I can tell you this, I am saved and God is my Lord and Savior. God has forgiven me and I know he will forgive anyone who asks for forgiveness. I can tell you this, I am thankful he has forgiven me and I am thankful I am able to go to church.
