Obituary Brenda Gail (Gunn) Prewitt was born on Friday, April 25, 1969 to the late Waurdell and Annie Kate Gunn in Okolona, Mississippi. Brenda confessed faith in Christ at an early age and joined Red Bud Baptist Church in Egypt, Mississippi. She was united in marriage to Anthony Prewitt and was a graduate of Okolona High School, Okolona, Mississippi and Job Corps of Mississippi. Brenda had a career in the culinary and caretaker industries. Brenda transitioned from her earthly home on Saturday, February 22, 2025 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Waurdell and Annie Kate Gunn and her siblings Waurdell Gunn Jr., Delois (Gunn) Deavens, Johnny Ray Gunn, Pal Thomas Gunn and her niece Michelle (Gunn) McGee.
