Barbara Little Obituary

Barbara Kay Spencer Little, 83, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Barbara passed away peacefully at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany with her husband, Benny, and children, Timmy and Dana, by her side. Barbara and Benny were married for 65 years, a true love that we all could only hope for. Benny has said, "I thought I loved her the first time I saw her and I knew I loved her the first time I dated her." They have two children, Timmy Little (Mary Morgan), Dana Ryals (Larry), 4 grandchildren- Will Jumper (Alyssa), Carley Jumper, Morgan Little, Mary Spencer Little, one great grandchild- Sawyer Jumper. She, also, loved her brother, Pat Gray Spencer, nieces and nephews and other family members. All that knew Barbara, knew that she loved her family beyond measure and was so very proud of each of them. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pat Gray and Beatrice Spencer. Barbara worked at Futorian, Union County Extension Office, and L & S Parts. She was the bookkeeper at L & S Parts, a family-owned business. She had many stories from working there, as it was the 'local hangout.' Barbara had a lifelong love of music; gospel music and the Gaithers were her favorite. With her beautiful alto voice, she sang with the 5 Sharps in high school and the church choir. She played the organ for 45 years at Bethlehem Church. Barbara was a faithful woman of God and a faithful member of Bethlehem Church. The family would like to give special thanks to Lois Berry, who was a wonderful caretaker and friend. Services will be at Bethlehem Church of New Albany, on February 18. Visitation will be 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM, funeral at 2:00 PM, with Dr. Jeff Lawrence officiating. Pallbearers are Will Jumper, Bennett McCullough,Ken Anderson, Mike Scott, Robby Enfinger and Stephen Enfinger.
