Steven Young Obituary

Steven A. Young June 22, 1967- July 17, 2025 Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by close family after a short courageous battle with AML Leukemia. Steven graduated from Sherburne Earlville High School. Steve spent his free time with family and friends, playing pool with David, Cole and Wyatt, hunting and fishing. Steve is survived by his beloved Marjorie Hackett. His brother James Young Jr. (Hazel), his sister Doreen Barker (Stan), stepchildren Kara and Kyle, grandchildren Kennedy, Kayla, Andrew, Camdyn, Bailey and Kyla. Nieces and nephews Tiffany, Brittney, Kimberly, Ashley and Joshua. Steve was a very devoted employee to Mid York Press working his entire career there. Steven was predeceased by his Mother Florence Evelyn (Miller) Young, Father James Albert Young Sr and Grandparents. There will be no calling hours or funeral to follow Steve's wishes. We will have a celebration of life to honor Steve and share memories, Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 1:00pm at the Monroe/Shaver Shop State Highway 23 and Pigeon Hill Rd., South Plymouth. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne, NY 13460.
