I met Joe in 2009 and we became very good friends. He was extremely kind to my daughters and became a big part of our lives for some time.. He loved to cook and joke around always showing his affection through food. I am so sad to hear of his passing and feel so sad I didnt get to say goodbye. I wish to extend my deepest condolence to his two boys Juwan and Frederick whom I met through Joe and his sister Saundra who I worked with for some time. My prayers and thoughts goes out to the rest of his family.

Joe Bennett was a good man. I knew him all my life and was very sad to hear of his passing. Joe DJ’ed my high school graduation party and made the night even better. I had just seen him and he told me that he was moving back to the house and two days later he was in the hospital. I didn’t get to see him again as he didn’t come back home from the hospital. Always a friend and someone that I will miss, I looked at the house every time I drove by, even today. Rest in peace Mussadiq,JB , my homie. -Buddy Roe
