Corrina Janty Obituary

Corrina Diane Janty, 32, of Ellington, CT, and previously of Bolton, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 3, 2025. She was born on August 26, 1992, in Hartford, the loving daughter to Heidi and Stuart Katz of Hartford, CT, and Stephen and Deneen Janty of Niantic, CT. After attending schools in Bolton, CT, Corrina graduated from Great Path Academy, attended Manchester Community College and graduated from the nursing program at Lincoln Tech. She was most recently employed as a licensed practical nurse with Caretenders Visiting Nurse Services. Corrina's passion was to help others, which was evident in the dedication and energy she put into her nursing career as well as the patients she assisted. While growing up, Corrina enjoyed many days after school, as well as during the summer months, with her Aunt Rosalie and her cousins. They were a tight group, sharing many adventures and weekly family dinners together creating a happy and noisy environment for all to enjoy. Her smile and energy lit up every room she entered. She left us too soon and will be remembered and missed by her family, friends, and those who she touched through her nursing career. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Ryan Janty and his girlfriend Mary Kate DeForge of Quincy, MA; her daughter, Isabella Janty-Villot; Isabella's father, Noah Villot; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor.
