My deepest sympathies to Bob and family. I grew up next to Ann on Korol Street and she was very sweet, smart, kind and had a spectacular and warm smile. She was a dedicated Girl Scout and very athletic. People relied more on open windows and fans during the summer back then so the smell of cooking would pass among the houses. Also when the Gong Show was on you would hear Miss Sue and her children Annie and P.J. laughing like we were. Our moms both hung out their wash and sometimes we'd play games on our dead end block like hide and seek. I remember one time when I was little walking with Ann Korol to the 5th Ave School schoolyard and she was picking wildflowers to press so she could glue to stationary and write letters. Sometimes she would swim in our above the ground swimming pool and sometimes a group of us would pick mulberry from a tree that hung over into the schoolyard and our hands and mouths would turn purple. Ann Korol/Annie always cared about others around her about the world around her. Like her mom she very involved and active and her community. She was like that all her life. She met a wonderful man and raised a beautiful family. She left behind a beautiful legacy and will be remembered always.

Ann was one of the greatest people I´ve ever known. Selfless, kind and considerate are just a start as to the greatness of this person. She meant a lot to me and to my family. She always had a part of my heart and always will. She is an Angel that God shared with us. All who knew her will miss her. Goodbye my friend!!!!!

Your Time for Glory
By Larry Hoch
God called another Angel to Heaven today, after blessing the earth in so many ways.
A person with a great heart and a magnificent soul, who was lost to you, but who gained their wings as it was in Gods control.
God whispered in their ear, it's your time for your glory which I will confirm as soon as you are here.
You will no longer want, you no longer need, you will not worry, you will not hunger, you need not hurry, you will need not thirst, you will no longer hurt. You'll be with me in a flurry, you will be here in a burst.
Enjoy your heavenly rest which you are about to partake. You have always put your family and friends first, so now I call you for your break.
So my compassionate friend you've met your test. In my arms you may come, in my arms you may rest. I enjoyed watching you as you've always provided your very best.
Tears will fall for many days and years to come. These tears are the love that you gave to those, now feeling so numb.
So close your eyes and remember your past. This was your destiny from the beginning and now you´re on the path, with me at last.
Your wings are attached and you´re on your way. The gates are open and this is your day.
So leave your spirit for those you part. Let them know that you will be there whenever you´re called as you will always live in their minds and their hearts.
Love always and forever,
Larry Hoch XXXXXOOOOO

I had the pleasure of working with Ann at Stevens School for many years. She was always smiling and willing to lend a helping hand. We would also chat when she walked through our neighborhood. I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I will keep her and your family in my prayers

Dear Rob, Carolyn, & Laura:
I was so fortunate to know Ann, since Erica and Laura went through the Rocky Hill school system together. She was one of the kindest nicest people I´ve ever met. I don´t think I ever saw her without a smile on her face. I am also an avid walker, so I used to see her on Westerly Terrace and we´d talk for a few minutes catching up. The last time we met up,I knew she was ill and I made sure I told her how I felt about her. I´ll always remember that. I hope that at this very difficult time you can have some sense of peace, knowing how blessed you were to have this beautiful mother and wife in your life.

Ann and I met back in 1989 when we both began working in Marketing Communications at Kaiser Permanente. Although I left Kaiser after three years, we kept in touch and remained friends ever since. In recent years we met every few months for lunch with two other colleagues. I'll always remember Ann's upbeat and positive outlook and be thankful for her presence in my life. May she rest in peace and enjoy her new life in a place where her faculties have all been restored.
