Suzanne Frost Obituary

Suzanne "Sue" M. (Lovrinic) Frost, 63, of Line Lexington, PA; formerly of Yardley, PA passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Temple University Hospital. Sue was the loving wife of Harry N. Frost for 40 years. She was born in Trenton, NJ to the late John E. Lovrinic and the late Barbara E. (Menchek) Lovrinic. Sue graduated from Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills, PA, class of 1979. She then attended Penn State University in University Park, PA, graduating in 1983 with a Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Administration. She then pursued her Nursing Degree at Episcopal Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia, PA. Sue proudly and compassionately worked as a nurse for over 39 years. She started her career as a Registered Nurse in the NICU at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, before moving to the Frankford-Torresdale Hospital NICU in Philadelphia, and then to Grand View Home Care in Sellersville. She left hospitals for a time to work as a School Nurse for the Pennridge School District, before finishing her career as a Nurse and Care Coordinator with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, HighPoint Campus, in Chalfont, PA. She was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. She volunteered with the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church Food Pantry in Souderton. Sue was a caring wife, mother, and friend. She loved nothing more than to host her friends and family with a specialty cocktail out in her garden or with a homecooked meal served in her 18th century farmhouse dining room. Gardening was one of her greatest joys, allowing her to channel her creative energy, and her yard and home were always filled with plants of all kinds. While she enjoyed many pastimes – yoga, reading, baking, antiques – her true passion was travel. Sue sampled wines across France, gained inspiration from the gardens in England, and swam alongside sea lions in the Galapagos. She was always eager to share about her most recent journey and her plans for her next upcoming adventure. Despite the cancer that she battled in the last years of her life, she always held the mentality of finding the beauty in everything, enjoying the little pleasures in life, and to chase your dreams wholeheartedly. Sue's legacy of resilience and kindness will continue to inspire those she knew, and she will be deeply missed by everyone who's life she touched. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth A. Frost of Line Lexington, PA and Abigail C. Frost of Orlando, FL; and her two brothers, Christopher Lovrinic of PA and Timothy J. (Ingrid) Lovrinic of New Hope, PA.
