Gabriel Cole Obituary

Gabriel Avery Cole, 23, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024, at his home in Lower Pottsgrove Township, PA, after a short battle with a rare cancer. Born in Reading, PA, on August 25, 2001, Gabriel was the beloved son of Daniel J. Cole and Ranell C. (Bilyk) Cole. Gabriel graduated from Renaissance Academy Charter School in Phoenixville in 2020 and worked as a laser engraver for Globus Medical in Audubon, PA. He was a member of BSA Troop 367 with New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church. Gabriel had an enduring passion for the beauty of nature, finding joy in camping beneath the stars, hiking serene trails, relaxing in his hammock, and marveling at the breathtaking landscapes of oceans, beaches, and parks. He especially cherished time at his family cabin in Canton, PA, and his visits to Bar Harbor, Maine. Gabriel loved woodburning and treasured moments spent sharing meals with friends. Above all, he valued creating lasting memories with his family and friends. Gabriel is lovingly remembered by his parents, Daniel and Ranell Cole; his siblings, Sheridan Cole, Cheyenne Cole, and Julian Cole; his paternal grandparents, Harvey and Linda Cole and Gil and Alice Cohen; his maternal grandparents, Karen Bilyk and Robert Bilyk; and his cherished pet bunny, Apollo. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will follow at 3:00 p.m.
