Bruce Owen Kelly, 85, of Allentown, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest Campus. He was the husband of Margaret (Wagner) Kelly. Born on March 9, 1939, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Owen J. and Julia (Hacker) Kelly.
Bruce was a sales rep for Bell Howell and a process analyst for AT&T and Agree where he later retired from. He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Whitehall, the Columbian Home of Allentown, and the Merchantile Club. Bruce was also an avid golfer in his younger years.
In addition to his beloved wife of 36 years, Margaret, he is survived by his two sons, Bruce Kelly, Jr., of Nevada and Bryan Kelly, of Chicago; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Bodisch; nephew, Eugene Flanley and his wife, Anne; two grandchildren, Marissa Towsend and her husband, Eric and Jenna Gallo; and two great-grandchildren, Jack and Julianna Towsend.
In addition to his parents, Bruce is preceded in death by his two step-sons, Keith and Kevin Bodisch; daughter-in-law, Debbie Bodisch; and Jenna's husband, Nick Gallo.
A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 10-11 a.m. at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 3900 Mechanicsville Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052 with a service beginning at 11 a.m. in the church. Interment will conclude services at St. Peter Cemetery, Coplay.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
