Ann Wissler Obituary

Ann Louise Wissler, 67, formerly of Sinking Spring, passed away Tuesday, February 25th at The Gardens at Stevens in Stevens, Pennsylvania. Ann passed away after a long and debilitating illness. She kept her tenacity, humor, uniqueness and love of the beauty of the natural world, friends, family and Labrador Retrievers to the end! Ann was born in West Reading on March 5, 1957, and was the daughter of the late Doris L. Wissler (Schaeffer) and George R. Wissler (Sr.). She graduated from Bloomsburg State College with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Ann practiced nursing at local providers, primarily the Reading Hospital's Spruce Pavilion. Ann is remembered for the compassionate care she offered her patients. Ann is survived by her sister, Wendy Luckenbill, brother, George R. Wissler Jr. and his wife Julia, 4 nephews, niece and grandniece. Services are private. Remembrances can be made by a donation to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, https://www.berksarl.org. I didn't know Ann in school but we became penpals / phone pals the last 3 - 4 yrs.
Even with all she was going through she kept her sense of humor and her head high.
She was one strong woman.
I will miss her.
