I have fond memories of riding Sarah´s horse Shadow in the fields near YDC, playing field hockey at Derryfield and all our ski shenanigans at Mittersill and Cannon. She was a beautiful soul. May she rest in peace. My most sincere condolences on her loss.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of Sarah. I have many fond memories of riding her horse Shadow through the field in front of YDC, playing field hockey at Derryfield and all our skiing shenanigans at Mittersill and Cannon. She was a beautiful soul. May she rest in peace.

I, too have many memories from childhood and adolescence of Sarah's fun-loving ways, including singing Beatles songs at the top of our lungs on the Peabody chairlift at Cannon Mountain with our ski gang.
In sympathy, Suzie Devine

Sarah was my closest friend during sophomore year at Derryfield. She thought like a poet with deep observations of others and kindness towards everyone. She taught me how to ride horseback. I was a horrible rider but she was patient and loved horses.

I have vivid memories of Sarah from our childhoods in Manchester, at Winnipesaukee and Mittersill/cannon where she was always bright, buoyant, alive and up for the next adventure. She treasured simple joys and broadcast her happiness with bright eyes and a huge beaming smile. And I know that she found those same simple joys throughout the decades. I honor her and her deeply loyal brother Zeke.

Sarah was a force of nature. Her energy and exuberance were infectious. We were close as friends and family throughout our childhood and into adolescence: skiing every weekend at Cannon, playing at the lake, having fun at the barn with the horses, and experimenting at various stages of our lives. Sarah was brave and brazen in ways most were not.

My heart goes out to Zeke - the last surviving member of the Straw clan.

I will always remember Sarah as the happy girl she was at Sudden Pitch. Those blond curls just bounced along with her.

My condolences to brother Ezekiel. I never knew Sarah personally, but I knew Zeke and Peggy and how much they loved Sarah. Peace be with you.
