Nancy Magera Obituary

Nancy Lee (Soukup) Magera, 78, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., peacefully passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, surrounded by her family and those closest to her. Nancy was born and raised in Pittsburgh to her parents, Amelia and Frank Soukup. Nancy was a fiercely dedicated mom, raising all five of them to go on to accomplish great things. Not only was she a wonderful mother, she worked as a geriatric nursing assistant for several years, both in Pennsylvania and Florida. Family came first and was above all else to Nancy, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Richard Matthew Magera. She is survived by her five children, Elizabeth (Brian) Thomas, Nadine (John) Bauduin, JeanAnn Naylor, Dean (Danielle) and Richard; grandmother of Shawn (Bobbi Jo), Mallorey (Victor), Haley (Matthew), Amanda, Douglas, JJ, Briana, Cheyne and Kevin; and great-grandmother of Collins, Corbin, Katalina and Madison. We were blessed to have our Mom spend her last earthly hours in a loving hospice. Memorial donations may be made in Nancy's name to Treasure Coast Hospice. www.treasurehealth.org.
