Thomas Robinson Obituary

Robinson, Thomas R. VALLEY FALLS Thomas R. Robinson, 69 of Valley Falls passed peace fully on June 2, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late William and Julia Lutz Robinson and the devoted husband of Marjorie Harris Robinson of Valley Falls. Tom was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He was employed by the City of Troy water treatment plant and later went on to and retire from The New York State Dept. of General Services in Albany. He was a lover of history, the Bible, N.Y. Yankees and the Detroit Lions but most of all spending time with his family Survivors, in addition to his wife Margie, include his daughter, Rebecca Ryan (Thomas) of Schaghticoke; and his stepson, whom he looked at as his own son, Samuel Travis of Mechanicville; grandchildren, Kaylynn and Ava Ryan; sisters, Jennifer Theakos (James), Pamela Ferral (Patrick); half-sisters, Donna Pierce, Jeri Degener; and several nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his brothers, William, Michael and Matthew Robinson; nephew, Tommy Lee; and his faithful dog companion, Sopjie. The family would like to thank the Community Hospice for their support and care. Private funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
