Lyn Adams Obituary
She will be fondly remembered by her friends and family as an avid world traveler and a San Diego enthusiast, working as a tour guide locally, and also winning trips and passes to Southern California attractions such as the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, and Disneyland.
Lyn was born and raised in Springfield Township, Penn., near Philadelphia, and moved to San Diego in 1977 with friends, discovering her lifelong love of the beach and water, where she spent a majority of her time.
She married her true love, Philip Adams, in 1986, and they adopted their daughter in 1999. After Philip's passing in 2001, Lyn raised their daughter by herself, and continued creating lasting memories for them at Mission Beach, packing picnics and building sand castles. Lyn also adored the holiday season, and always made sure to get the biggest real Christmas tree she could find.
Lyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her beloved dog, Jasmine. She is survived by her daughter, Coley, and her cousin, Debra.
Her ashes will be spread in all her favorite places in San Diego during the summer, her favorite time of year. A memorial service will be held sometime in the summer as well.

Lynn's fun and bubbly personality was always appreciated as we loved being around her, such a good heart. She may have struggled with things she lacked in life, but she never let it get her down. Always laughing, that intoxicating laugh of hers, and her will to live her life will be remembered and never forgotten. My condolences to you Coley, and to all of you that loved her. The Sun is always shining somewhere!
