Maria Snyder Obituary
Maria Snyder, 76, formerly of Avoca, passed away March 19, 2026, at Highland Manor Nursing Home, Exeter.
She was born in Pittston on Dec. 4, 1949, and was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, Class of 1967.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary E. Snyder Sr., and parents, Joseph and Theresa (Korick) Cituk.
She is survived by her son, Jason Bartoli, and his wife, Megan; sister, Diane Policare; stepson, Gary E. Snyder Jr., and his wife, Jennifer; grandson, Gabe; and granddaughters, Makayla and Kylie.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Highland Manor for their care and kindness over the years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. to service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Maria's memory to Jenkins Township Hose Co., 2 Second St., Jenkins Township, PA 18640.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home.
