Mark Allan Burton, 68, of Hillsboro, passed away unexpectedly on April 27, 2024, at Highland District Hospital.
He was born the son of the late James and Ruth Wallingford Burton on Sept. 11, 1955, in Dayton.
Mark graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1974, and worked and retired from General Motors. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandkids. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, horses and working outside on his farm.
Mark is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Angus) Burton; his sons, Jeremy (Ronni) Burton of Hillsboro and Cody (Kate) Burton of Mt. Orab; and three grandchildren, Aubrey, Landon and Wyland.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 2-3:45 p.m.m at the Turner & Son Funeral Home at which time family and friends are welcome to share stories and memories of Mark until time of military honors service presented by the Highland County Veterans Honor Guard at 4 p.m.
