Kimberly Main Obituary

Kimberly M. (Falcone) Main, 54, beloved wife, mother and sister, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2023. Kim was born on September 6, 1968 to the late Jeanne Pizarro and Daniel Falcone. She was a graduate of Westerly High School and Katherine Gibbs College, and she worked at Westerly Hospital and Washington Trust before devoting herself to raising her children.
Kim met the love of her life, Greg Main, while still in high school. Almost from the beginning, it was clear they would eventually get married, which is exactly what they did on November 14, 1992. They made their first home in Westerly, then moved to Greg's hometown, North Stonington, CT, and returned to Westerly several years ago. Along the way, they were blessed with three children who were Kim's biggest source of pride and joy. Kim was a great mother, and some of her best times were spent on Cape Cod with her family and watching her children play sports and perform on stage.
Through most of her adult years, Kim bravely battled Lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease, refusing to let it get in the way of her leading a busy and fulfilling life taking care of her family and building strong connections with neighbors and other friends.
Kim leaves her husband, Gregory Main, daughter Danielle (and fiancé Brendan), and sons Joshua and Jordan. She also leaves her stepfather, Manuel Pizarro, three siblings and their spouses: Tracy Ericson (Alice), Kevin Ericson (Tais), and Brandi Lynch (Jason), and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her father-in-law, Gilbert Main, and mother-in-law, Ella Main.
Kim will be deeply missed by all who knew her and felt the strength of her spirit and kindness.
Services will be held privately by the family.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America at www.lupus.org, or any charity of choice.

Proverbs 31:29-31 (NIV)
Many women do noble things but you surpass them all. Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
