Erica Alexis Obituary

Erica Alexis, 29, of Carbondale, passed away Sunday, Oct. 15. She was a graduate of Valley View High School. Born in Carbondale, she was the beautiful daughter of Eric Alexis and Joan Mihalick Alexis of Carbondale. She was her mother's best friend.

Erica had a heart of gold and was a very caring person. Erica enjoyed shopping and doing her hair and makeup. She had a sense of humor and an infectious laugh that could make you laugh until you cried. Erica helped take care of her grandmother, who always called her beautiful. Above all, what brought her the most joy was spending time with her children.

In addition to her parents, Eric and Joan Alexis, Erica is survived by her beloved children, Ivy, Wallace III, Kyleigh and Lincoln Baldwin, all of Carbondale; her nephews, Collin and Elijah Boguski; and their little brother, Franklin, all of Jermyn; her special aunts and uncles, Thomas Mihalick, Carbondale; Luann and Ken Dobosz, Florida, her godparents; aunt, Kathiee Mihalick Ross, Arizona; her maternal grandmother, Dolores Smey, Carbondale; her sister-in-law, Kelly Tokarczyk; the father of her children, Wallace Baldwin; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Scott Boguski Jr. and Steven Boguski, Carbondale; and her paternal grandmother, Mary Alexis, Peckville.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale. A prayer service will be held at 3:45 p.m. Interment at a future date. Online condolences may be sent to the funeral home website.
