Blair W. Haddle Sr., 81, of Hebron, Ind., passed away on Monday, Sept. 11, 2023.
Blair was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara J. Haddle (née Muncie); his father, James William; mother, Dorothy C. Haddle; brother, James William Jr.; and sister, Rosina.
Blair is survived by his two sons, Blair Jr. (Elizabeth Procunier) of Hebron, Ind., and Gerald; granddaughters, Victoria (Chad) Jenkins of Littleton, N.C., Stephanie (Manuel) Rodriguez of Seagoville, Texas; five great-grandsons, Henry, Sebastian, Edward, Leo and Cameron; two brothers, Lewis of New Smyrna, Fla., and Micheal (Darlene) of St. George, S.C.; sister, Ruth (Robert) Hartzog of Gray, Ga.
Blair was born on Jan. 22, 1942, in Homestead, Pa. to James and Dorothy (née Wilson) Haddle. He was a graduate of Dallas High School, class of 1959. After graduation he joined the U.S. Navy. In 1962 he married Barbara Muncie and together they raised two sons: Blair Jr. and Gerald.
Owing to his many years as a machinist, Blair and Barbara became small business owners when they opened their own machine shops; First Haddle Machine and then Eagle Creek Machining.
Blair was a Navy veteran and will be inurned at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in a private family service. Visit Blair's online guestbook at www.Geisen
