Jack Campbell, 85, of Middletown passed away on Wednesday June 4, 2025, at Middletown Nursing and Rehab. He was born on Jan. 8, 1940, in Anderson to the late Granger and Donalddene (Larsen) Campbell.
In 1998 Jack retired after 37.5 years from Delco Remy where he worked as a pipefitter. He was a member of UAW local 662 and a 63-year member of the Middletown Masonic Lodge. Jack was a 64-year member of the United Methodist Church. His greatest joy was his family, he loved spending time with his grand kids and great grand kids. Jack would give the shirt off his back for his family and friends.
Jack is survived by his children, Jill (Danny) Pugsley and Teddy (Brenda) Campbell; grandchildren, Jessica (Dustin) Armstrong, Melissa (Kyle) Redding, Haley (Josh) Anderson, Jack Pugsley, Jon Koch, Sandra Campbell (fiancé Samuel Johnson), Granger (Whitney) Campbell, Christa (Nathan) Fisher and Brittany (Brian) Stout; great grandchildren, Carter, Rosco, Natalie, Rylee, Eugene, Gilbert, Ray, Beckum, Michael, McKenna, Lennox, Elenna, Wren, Dylan, Bradley, Emma, Nolan, and David Lee; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Jack is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Nancy Campbell; son, Jeff Campbell; sister, Jill Manis.
Services will be on Monday June 9 at 2 p.m., at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown with Pastor Tim Glidden officiating. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of service. Masonic Rites will be conducted by the Middletown Masonic Lodge.
