Dorothy F. (Kupiec) Pipas April 27, 2022 Cazenovia, NY – Dorothy F. (Kupiec) Pipas, age 85, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at her home. She was born in Utica, on April 18, 1937, a daughter of the late Stanley and Stephanie "Sadie" (Trzepacz) Kupiec. She was raised and educated in New York Mills, where she graduated from New York Mills High School in 1955. On August 27, 1960 she married Dr. John E. Pipas in Saint Mary's Church in New York Mills. At one time Mrs. Pipas held positions with the Kelsey-Hayes Company and Everett-Murray Real Estate Agency in Cazenovia; Dorothy retired from her husband's practice, Dr. John E. Pipas, MD, after several years of service. She is survived by her husband, Dr. John E. Pipas; a daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Lauren Pipas and her husband, Dr. Elliot Rodriguez all of Cazenovia; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dr. J. Marc Pipas and his wife, Dr. Catherine Florio Pipas of NJ; and J. Eric Pipas of Germany; four grandchildren, Alex Rodriguez, Luke Rodriguez, both of Cazenovia, Victoria Florio Pipas, and Stephanie Florio Pipas both of Sheldon, SC; a sister, Joan Janowsky of MI, and a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Judith Kupiec of New York Mills and a sister-in-law, Joan Cross of New York Mills. In keeping with Dorothy's wishes all services will be held privately at the convenance of the family. Burial will take place in St. Stanislaus & Casimir Cemetery on Wood Road in Whitestown.
