Camilla Pereira Obituary

Camilla "Camie" Pereira, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 42. Born on May 6, 1982, Camie was a vibrant presence in the lives of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Susan and Floyd, who remain forever in her heart. Camie is survived by her devoted husband, Jarred, with whom she shared a beautiful partnership for 28 years. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Jordan and Layla, who were the light of her life. Camie also leaves behind her cherished siblings, Casey and John, brother-in-law Bud and her beloved sister-in-law and best friend, Nikki, with whom she shared countless adventures and mischief. Known for her adventurous spirit, Camie loved to explore the world, with Hawaii and Tahoe being her favorite destinations. Her passion for the outdoors was evident in her love for camping with family, where laughter and joy filled the air. A talented cook, Camie delighted her children with her specialty pork chops and mashed potatoes, creating memories around the home that will be treasured forever. With a personality that was the life of the party, she was a spitfire who embraced every moment of life with love and enthusiasm. Family was always at the center of Camie's world, and her warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met.

First, I want to give my condolences to Jarred, Layla, and Jordan, may they find peace and comfort in knowing that her spirit will always be with them. Cami, so many words to describe this little but fierce lady.. She was above all an amazing mother to two beautiful children, who were her pride and joy and who she loved more than anything in the universe, second, she was a devoted wife and life partner, and best friend to her husband Jarred, and last but not least, the realest friend someone could ever hope to have. I was lucky enough to share a friendship with Cami, we lost touch along the way, "my fault", I should´ve kept in touch, I wish so badly that I had! I never thought such a bright light could just go out, that´s what she was, someone to brighten your day, someone to talk to on a rough day, or a shoulder to cry on, someone to make you laugh when you needed to the most. I´ve often thought about calling you up, but knew you would be real with me on how I wasn´t the best friend to you for just losing touch like I did, because you always kept it real, didn´t sugar coat anything, and I think that I just didn´t want to face the music, because you would´ve gave me the cold shoulder, or let me have it. I´m truly thankful to have known you, you were one of the realest friends I´ve had, and someone I knew I could count on. I´ll always remember the good times we had, Fly high Cami, love you!
