Sandy, Utah-With a spirit that radiated love and generosity, Sandra Freeze passed from this life on January 24th, 2025. Born on July 22, 1944 in Salt Lake City, UT, Sandra was a beacon of empathy and dedication throughout her life. Her heartfelt actions and unwavering devotion to her family left an indelible imprint on this world, one that will resonate in the hearts of those she touched forever.
Sandra's life was a testament to the strength of love and the resilience of the human spirit. After marrying her high school sweetheart, Sherman Freeze, on December 8th, 1960, Sandra dedicated her life to being a loving wife, an unwavering pillar of support, and an extraordinary homemaker. Her love story with Sherman was one for the ages, filled with companionship, mutual respect, and a bond that defied all odds. She found joy in taking care of her special needs son, Chris, showcasing her selfless nature and nurturing spirit. It is said, "The love of a mother is the veil of a softer light between the heart and the heavenly Father," and Sandra embodied this sentiment in every sense.
Sandra is survived by her husband Sherman, her daughter Cari Rodriguez, her granddaughter Rachel North, and her grandson Chad Freeze. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Velva Gagnon, and her sons, Chris and Brent Freeze. Sandra's life will be celebrated on Monday, February 3rd, 2025 with a viewing at 11:00am at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Homes & Cremation Center, followed by a graveside service at 12:30pm at Murray City Cemetery.

Sandra my beautiful friend from grade school, until her marriage to Sherm. One beautiful friend and lady! Sad we lost track in our lives but she has alway been in my heart! You are very special and also remember. Love to your family.
