Mary Magdalene Lovern, 89, of Christiansburg passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024. She was born on October 18, 1934 to the late Clara Hale and Herman Hale.
Beside her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Lovern; daughter, Teresa Harris; son, Wayne Lovern; brother, Euel Lee Hale, Sr.; sister-in-law, Selma Hale.
She is survived by her son, Darrell Lovern and his wife Lee; brother, J.P Hale; son-in-law; Gary Harris; sister-in-law, Dollie Hale; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was loved beyond words and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Pulaski Health and Rehab staff who provided her with great care.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 12 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Bralley officiating. Interment will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to invite family and friends to enjoy a lunch and fellowship at Oak Grove Church located at 641 Craig's Mountain Road in Christiansburg following the interment.

if you ever met Mag, you never ever forgot her. She could make you laugh and straighten you out at the same time. Mag, Curtis, Euel Lee and myself shared many adventures together. My prayers are with Darrell and all of the families. Love you´ll.
