Carol Litton Obituary

WOODHULL - Carol A. Litton, 72, Woodhull, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, at home. Service will be at noon Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at Maranatha Chapel in Alpha. Burial will be in the Woodhull Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church where a memorial fund will be established. Peterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and online condolences can be made at www.petersonwallinknox.com.
She was born Sept. 22, 1945, in Galesburg, to Richard and Alice Stead Seaton. She graduated from AlWood High School and attended cosmetology school. Carol married Robert G. Litton on Sept. 20, 1993, in Cambridge. He died on Sept. 14, 2011.
Carol was employed at the former Oak Glen Nursing Home in Coal Valley for many years. She worked at the Woodhull Plaza and retired from the End Zone in Woodhull.
She enjoyed many things including: reading, cross-stitching, puzzles, thrifting, collecting miniatures, playing computer games and being outdoors.
Survivors include three daughters, Sherri (Bill) Jockisch of Lewistown, Terri (Terry) Buckallew of Davenport, Iowa, and Michelle (John) Turpin of Galesburg; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara (Daniel) Tusing of Woodhull; one brother, David (Joan) Seaton of Prophetstown; two nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
