Hope Meals Obituary

Hope L. Meals Hope L. Meals, age 47, of Scranton, passed away Sunday at Geisinger CMC in Scranton. She was the wife of Kenneth Blake, Sr. Born in Kutztown, PA, daughter of Terry and Donna Shaver Meals, Hope was a graduate of Kutztown High School. She was employed as the front end manager by PriceRite in Scranton. Hope was a loving wife, step mother, step grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who will leave an imprint on the hearts that she touched. Also surviving are, her step children, Sabrina, Dominique, and Damien Blake, siblings, Faith Schaffer and husband, Charlie, and Charity Krause, and husband, Phil; a niece, Arya Krause, and step grandchildren Makenna and Kaiden. A step son, Kenneth Blake, Jr., preceded her in death. As per her wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton.
