Brian Stitzel Obituary

Brian A. Stitzel, 62, of Windsor township, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on June 13, 2022. He was the devoted husband of Debra L. (Fronk) Stitzel with whom he shared 40 loving years. Brian was the son of the late Paul and Helen (Rubright) Stitzel. Brian was devoted to the family business at Stitzel Farm Equipment of Windsor Township where he worked from 1985 until his passing. He was a sales representative who was loved by his clients. Brian was a good man with a heart of gold, someone who would have helped anyone. He was hard working and valued a job well done. He loved his dogs, and he took great joy in feeding the barn cats around the property. He loved country music and country Westerns, and he always had time to watch James Bond. He loved his family and they were very important to him. Left to treasure Brian’s memory are his wife, Debra; son, William J. Stitzel of Reading; daughters, Amanda L. Stitzel, wife of Jason Belovich, Jessica M. Becker, wife of Steven Becker, both of Schuylkill Haven; grandchildren, Caleb and Callie Becker, and Olivia Belovich; brother, Kevin P. Stitzel, husband of Amy Stitzel; sister-in-law, Linda Waskow (wife of the late Robert Waskow); and nephews, Brandon Stitzel and Kevin Stitzel Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508, or may be made to help offset the cost of the funeral to Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 S 4th Street, Hamburg PA 19526. Please place Brian’s name on the memo line. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Zion’s Church, 770 Zion Church Rd, Hamburg, PA 19526 with committal to follow at Zion Cemetery of Perry Township. My deepest sympathies for my long time best friend. My heart is hurt that we lost him. We enjoyed many weekends in our youth, and many more in his Florida days. May GOD take care of him now.

My memories of Brian will always be of great conversations we would have with him while making deals and telling stories of/about tractors that we were buying. Will miss him!

Brian's Family:
Please accept my deepest condolences and may you all find peace in this time of sadness. Cherish the fond memories and celebrate the life of Brian.
Brian was a part of my Dad's extended family as he has spent many, many years working for the Stitzel family, and working with Brian. (my dad is Gruber).
My heart goes out to EVERYONE in the Stitzel family. Find strength and comfort in your family, lean on each other and support each other, always!

To the Stitzel Family I am sorry for your loss , I am very sad to hear of Brian's passing he was a great person he is as honest as they come I have not come across one salesman who was so honest and knowledgeable about his equipment, when inquiring about a peice of equipment that he would tell you , you don't want that there is a problem with it and we don't know what that problem is and the problem doesn't happen all the time you cant beat that honesty with a stick. Thanks for all the great green and yellow equipment.Rest easy Brian say hello to Reagan for me.
