Vernon Nelson Obituary
Vernon W. Nelson a Sonoma County Real Estate Photographer passed away at his home surrounded by his beloved wife and family on Sunday, September 17, 2023. He also worked at Hewlett Packard later Agilent Technologies for over 20 years. Community members who knew Vernon are invited to his Memorial Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 1 p.m. The event will be held at the SaraLee and Richard Barn at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Vernons' Wife and Family,
How blessed Vernon was to have had your lives and love in his Lifes journey.
Heaven has become even more Beautiful upon Vernons entry.
I knew Vernon many years from Hewlett-Packard / Agilent. I hadn't seen him in 20 yrs. since leaving work. Several months back I bumped into him as he was purchasing a vacuum cleaner and he updated me on everything including his health. He was the same then, as at work, just so calm and positive.
I wish to share what Vernon had said to me.
Vernon said that "He could see and feel all the love his wife has for him, in her eyes." "All her love shown through her eyes."
A TRUE LOVE if ever there be.

I worked with Vern at Hewlett-Packard and remember him as a friendly and positive man who was easy to work with and very supportive. My sympathy to his family and close friends.

I knew Vernon to be a kind and gentle person. He admitted he was not a Type A personality and we loved him for that. I wish more people were as approachable and genuine as Vernon was. He will be missed. But I have the hope as did Vernon, that God will make all things new again and our pain of loss will be taken away. My condolences to the Nelson family and looking forward to seeing the family on the 28th. Much Love, Rebecca Butts
