I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of this beautiful woman. I always referred to her as Aunt Gay my entire life. She was a beautiful person both inside and out. I will mostly remember her jovial laugh. I have posted a photo showing her with the laugh I will never forget. She always made me laugh with her quick wit. Gay was a very compassionate lady. After my spinal surgery complications, she immediately came to my home to see what she could do for me. She called me on the phone to follow my surgery progress. We found out we both developed a rare and painful disorder after our surgeries. We were not blood related, but I loved her as though she was. Lee, Greg, family, and friends I am so sorry for your loss. The world is a better place because she was part of it. RIP Aunt Gay. Til we meet again.
This is how I will always remember Aunty Gay. Pic taken at my Beauty Pageant.

Lee, Greg and family:
I have a large hole in my heart right now.. Gay and I have been close friends for over 56 years..We went to beauty school together in 1962 and never lost touch. We spoke daily and were together at least 2 times a week..My girls adored her and called her Auntie Gay.. I'm angry we lost her...hopefully, Gay you found peace.. I will miss you till the day I die.. We knew each other's dark secrets and hurts.. A lot of good times were had.. Nobody and I mean nobody had the fun we had.. I will tell all at your Eulogy.. I loved you as a sister and will miss you horribly.. I love you and RIP my friend till we meet again

Lee, Greg and family...I can't believe we lost Gay..I'm so upset as my girls are..they called her Auntie Gay...I loved her like a sister...we go back to when we first met in 1962 at beauty school and talked daily for 56 years. Had lots of good times along with the bad..I knew everything about her and she me. She was here at least 2-3 times a week.. I'll miss that. She loved her family and especially her son. Greg..Lee (her husband) you were the best husband to her...none of you have any regrets...I'm mad at her and hope and pray she's at peace. RIP my friend and half sister through years of friendship..Not biological.. I love you Gay and will miss you horribly.. You left a big hole in all our hearts
