I was sitting at work wondering and thinking about Mr. Lorenzo Goganious. I was saddened to see that he passed. It has been many years, but I often think of you and should have done a better job at trying to connect. Family you are in my prayers. Rest well sir!

I am deeply saddened to hear of Lorenzo's passing. Although I last saw Lorenzo 12 1/2 years ago at my late husband's funeral, I will never forget what a help he was to us in helping my husband and I purchase our home in East Beach in 2001 when we returned to the area. Lorenzo also assisted my late Aunt Lou and Uncle Frank Parker to find their home when they relocated to Norfolk from New Jersey. When my husband had a massive stroke in 2003, Lorenzo was among his first visitors after he was released from rehab. Lorenzo introduced us to Chic Filet (LOL). We had many advisory conversations with Lorenzo and I regret that over these last 10 years I did not keep in touch or seek his assistance in several real estate matters in the Tidewater area.
May God bless his family and may he eternally rest in peace.

Connie and I are deeply saddened by Lorenzo's passing. He has always been a good neighbor to our small community. We will miss his smile and good humor. Our best to Bettie and family now and always. We are just a call away and down the street.

I, along with my wife, Rev. Dee, sends our condolences to the family of Brother Goganious,who I affectionately called " Go ". Lorenzo and my sister, Regina Edwards Lockamy graduated in the same high school class. I didn't meet him until he enrolled in Norfolk State in 1966. Man, I loved his personality and will truly miss his upbeat spirit. Rest in peace my brother.

Lorenzo was always there to offer sound advice. He made you feel special and was truly interested in what was going on in your life. His smile and kindness will be missed. Our prayers go out to Bettie and the family.
