Janice Smith Obituary

Janice P. Smith, 91 passed away peacefully with family, on January 5, 2024. She retired after 18 years from Virginia Beach Family Practice as Office Manager. After high school, she entered a student nursing program in her hometown. She worked at a radio station part-time and volunteered at the American Red Cross.

She is predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Howard Smith (2017). She is survived by 4 children, Phil Smith, wife Debbie, Tim Smith, wife Debbie, Bryan Smith, wife Kelly (Bland) Cindy Brown, husband Doug Carter; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 11th from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 12th at 2:00 pm. Viewing and services will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 3445 Princess Anne Rd. VA Beach. A burial will follow at Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
