I had the good fortune of being Susans next door neighbor for the past 5 years. I was also lucky enough to get to know her, and visited with her many times over the years. I heard so many incredible stories about the family, your uncle who had an incredible career as a CIA agent! Her father and your dad WW1 and 2 veterans! Your mom told me that she worked in a factory manufacturing gears for walkie talkies during the war, just an incredible story!! She was a magnificent person who I had the honor of calling my friend.

Laurie, David, John and Susannah - I send to you my love and prayers and wish for you beautiful memories of this amazing lady. I met her by chance and the one time visit turned into years of coming back for the stories and conversations that went on for hours. I would bring her roses and chocolate and owls and she would give me love, warmth and caring. Every visit brought me more insight into a remarkable life well lived. Her love of family was in every story and I feel like I know all of you so very well. Her pride in you was always there. What an elegant lady who would share with me so many stories and journeys. She was a gift to me that I will always carry in my heart.
With love and sympathy
