Brian Moody Obituary

I have known Brian for a long time. He and I worked together at Westville Correctional, and at the Porter County Sheriff's Department. I always enjoyed working with him. I did not know him on a deep personal level, but enough to go out for beers once in a while. Brian was a good man who always knew how to make me laugh. I will miss him.

Brian and I were best friends in high school; he drove me to play tennis in Valpo. I know our military was safer with Brian in it; the world will miss Brian as much as I do. He was a great guy; I'm sorry I did not stay in touch with him except for my 10 year high school re-union. Playing tennis with Brian was the most fun I had while living in Kouts. He was a good soul and I'll see him on the other side because someone has to leave, and I'll be following Brian. My sincere condolencies to Brian's Mom and Dad and sister. Heaven is a better place because Brian is in it!

I am absolutely shocked and saddened by Brian's death. I haven't seen him in quit sometime but I will NEVER forget his big tall laugh and how wonderful of a man he was. My tears and sorrow go out to the family and I hope that you all know that I still love you and miss you all terribly. May God Bless you all in this sorrowful time!
