Mary Kathleen Pauley, 99, passed away on October 04, 2023 in Barrington, IL. She was born on September 01, 1924 in Chicago, IL.
Mary retired from the Federal Reserve Bank after many years. She moved to McHenry in 1975 where she worked at the McHenry State Bank, Wonder Lake Bank and the McHenry Library, where she retired for the second time. She loved to travel and traveled through Europe and China. She made many good and lasting friendships along the way. She enjoyed cooking at Holidays with her family around her! The more the merrier. She always had time for you. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply and forever missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Rest Easy, Mom…
Mary is survived by her children: Cindy (late David) Myers and Alan (Susan) Pauley; her grandchildren: Tracey Ferrari, Kevin (Michele) Burgess, Jason (Rebecca) Myers, Ashleigh (Michael) Buurman, and Dustin Pauley; and her 11 great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Daniel Pauley; her daughter: Kimberley Pauley; and her parents: Ruby Lee and David Lloyd Whittenberg.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home in McHenry, IL. A continued Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at Colonial Funeral Home. A Prayer Service will start at 11:45 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. The Burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary, IL.
