Debra Andrews Obituary

Debra Jeanne Andrews
December 17, 1953 – December 26, 2021
Debbie passed away peacefully at Milford Hospital at the age of 68 with loved ones by her side. She was born in Brockton, Massachusetts before moving to Milford, Connecticut with her Mother, Nilda Gertrude Guilmart Palombo and Father, Alvin Emerson Guilmart. Debbie was a graduate of Jonathan Law High School. She received an AAS in Occupational Safety and Health from Trinidad Jr State College and a Bachelors of Arts from Southern New Hampshire University. Debbie was a current employee at Sikorsky Aircraft and has been there for 41 years. She started in data entry eventually moving to the computer facility, then transferred into the test labs and engineering department working as an electronics technician for multiple programs including development/experimental.
Debbie was predeceased by both parents Nilda and Alvin, her sister Gail Trowbridge and brother Richard Guilmart. She is survived by her long term boyfriend Joe Wall, and three sons, Jonathan Andrews (Erica), Scott (Kate) and Shawn Andrews (Alicia). Also, her brother Steven Guilmart and his wife Beth, as well as her niece Sharon Guilmart. Debbie had three grandchildren, Conor Andrews, Mya and Evelyn Andrews, which she loved more than anything.
Debbie was a Dallas Cowboys football fan. She also loved hockey and racing. Joe and herself were season ticket holders for the Bridgeport Soundtigers and NY Islanders. They loved attending Indycar, Nascar, NHRA and Formula 1 races together. Debbie was well known in the town of Milford, making friends everywhere she went. She was a motherly figure to so many and will greatly be missed by many. She was a loving Mother who was fiercely proud of her three sons who she raised mostly on her own. Her greatest happiness came from seeing her three grandchildren.

Debbie was such a nice person. We became quick friends. I have many great memories of Bob & I hanging out with Joe & Deb. Joe & Debbie were always so good to me throughout my pregnancy and I would often call her for advice. You were both so generous with Lexi when she was little. I will never forget that kindness. Although we hadn't been in touch over the more recent years, I thought of her often and hoped we would reconnect. I'm so sad I will never get the chance to see her again. My heart goes out to Joe, and I know her sons were the center of her life. We will all miss her. With sympathy~ Joy Jarvais

My deepest sympathy to Debra's family. I didn't know her personally but I work with Joe her boyfriend and he always spoke very highly of her. My God be with her and her family and may she rest in peace...
