Mavis Eddings Obituary

Mavis Lorene Eddings, 85, of Blue Springs, Missouri, died at home, Wednesday, April 9 (2025). Interment will be 2 p.m., Saturday, April 12, in Sand Hill Cemetery, Yardell, under the direction of Roller-Christeson Funeral Home of Harrison.
The daughter of the late James Boyd and Nellies Jones, was born in Yardell, Newton County, Dec. 10, 1939. She grew up in Western Grove.
She met Ralph Eddings, and together, they moved to Kansas City where they raised two daughters. Arlene Eddings Hines and Tammy Eddings Andrews. She has four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She had been employed by Marion Laboratories in Kansas City.

Arlene and Tammy, I´m so sorry to hear about your mom. She was a special lady. I know she and my mom are having quite a time! They had a friendship that few get to experience.
I actually tried to call her today....i didn´t know she had passed until now. Memories will be a comfort during the rough times.

My deepest sympathy to the Eddings family on the home going of Mavis. I had the pleasure to meet Ralph and Mavis at Blue Ridge Baptist Temple and instantly became good friends. I´ll be lifting the family up in prayer.
