Kelsey Jo Zoss, age 30, of Peru, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in Mendaota.
Kelsey was born on September 9, 1991 in Peoria, IL to Jerry A. and Dianna Jo (Fyke) Zoss.
Surviving are her mother, Dianna (Bill) Sparks of Chillicothe; Kelsey's longtime boyfriend, James Lindsay Taylor of Peru, IL; their daughter, Kennadi Jo Taylor; her siblings, Joshua (Toni) Zoss of Washburn, IL, Jeremy (Brittany) Zoss of Chillicothe, Kaylea S. Zoss of Chillicothe, Gary (Kendra) Sparks of Chillicothe and Amber Sparks of Chillicothe; her grandmother, Sharon Fyke of Lacon; and many nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry; her maternal grandfather and her paternal grandparents.
Kelsey loved being a waitress; she enjoyed serving others and visiting with her customers. She was an excellent cook and also enjoyed decorating. Her greatest accomplishment was being the mom to the joy of her life, her daughter, Kennadi Jo. She was a blessing to all and a blessing to be around.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorials in her name may be made to any abuse or drug center. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Online condolences may be made through www.weberhurdfuneralhome.com

Dianna,
I am so sorry for your loss...I am praying for comfort and understanding for the whole family. I didn't know Kelsey but I am sure she was loved by many. Hugs my friend and many, many prayers.
