William Morris, III Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of William John Morris II, affectionately known as "Jack," on July 18, 2025, at the age of 78.

Born February 6, 1947, in Port Huron, Michigan, Jack was the beloved son of the late William John and Carmen C. Morris (née Sari). He married Irina Mishura on June 20, 1997. A proud Michigander, he earned his bachelor's degree and went on to enjoy a long and dedicated professional career with many companies in southeast Michigan, and retired from DTE.

Jack was a man of deep passions and rich talents. He had a lifelong love for music, especially opera, and was known for his beautiful singing voice-a gift he shared generously with family and friends. A true sports enthusiast, Jack found great joy in both watching and participating in athletics, and spent many years refereeing games with enthusiasm and integrity. His dedication to this passion earned him great respect by all those that had the opportunity to know and work with him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Irina Mishura; his son Anthony J. (Hillary) Morris, stepdaughter Rachel L. (Andrew) Adamski; 4 grandchildren, Isabella Morris, Tyler Morris, Nellie Adamski and Lillie Adamski; his brother Ronald M. (Frances) Morris, his sister Dorian "Dori" Leigh Morris, three nieces and two nephews.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 2, from 10AM until service at 12PM with luncheon to follow at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers, Connell Chapel) 32515 Woodward Ave. Royal Oak (248) 549-0500.
