William "Buddy" Murel Cox, Sr., 86, of Shelbyville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
He was born on September 9, 1938 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Granville and Anna (Hill) Cox. He is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Cox, daughters, Stacy Elaine Cox, Rhonda Clark and siblings Raymond Cox, Robert Cox, Anna May Simpson, Mildred Bisig and Betty Marrillia.
Buddy enjoyed riding on his boat on the river.
Buddy is survived by his daughter, Annette Carol Cox, son, William "Junie" Cox, Jr., grandson, Shawn Clark, niece, Cathy Harlan (Ricky), sisters, Dorothy Mosher (Keith), Deborah Shoemaker and brother, John Cox (Missy).
Per Buddy's wishes cremation was chosen and there will be no services.
