Timothy Propes Obituary

PROPES - Timothy Steven Propes, age 58 of Snellville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, with Rev. Steve Pritchett officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Tim was an artist who loved to draw, capturing life's smallest details with care and imagination. His creativity flowed effortlessly from his pencil to his guitar strings - music was his second language. He played with a rare passion and skill. Tim was a published author as well, who shared his thoughts and stories with the world. He found solace and inspiration in books. Tim was preceded in death by his father Paul Marlow Propes and uncle Cecil Hodge. He is survived by his mother, Betty Elizabeth (Hodge) Propes; brother, Mark Propes; uncle, David (Denise) Propes; aunt, Betty Jean (Roger) Nance; aunt, Frances Moon; aunt, Gwynne Hodge; special friends, Karen & Chris Connor; and several cousins Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar.
