Shannon Chesson-Kindl Obituary

Shannon Rae Chesson-Kindl, passed away on August 28, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and devotion to others. She will be remembered most for the way she loved—wholeheartedly. Shannon was known throughout Wildwood as someone who could always be counted on. Whether she was rescuing animals, offering a helping hand, or simply sitting with someone who needed company, Shannon gave her time and care generously. She truly loved everybody and always made time for anyone, a gift that touched countless lives and will not be forgotten. Shannon is survived by her husband, Gary Kindl; her son, David M Evans; her daughter, Shellbe Stafford(Justin); her father, James Evans; her sister, Angela Kruse; her brother, David J Evans(Angela); and her grandson, Wylde Stafford. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Sherry Evans. Though formal services have concluded, Shannon’s life will be honored in the hearts of all who knew her. Her warmth, patience, and unwavering kindness will continue to live on through her family and the many people she cared for throughout her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sumter County Humane Society in her memory, as caring for animals was something she held dear to her heart.
