Mrs. Sarah Beth "Sadie" Moore Martin, 87, of Coffeeville, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

She was born October 6, 1938, in Big Creek to Troy Green Moore and Mattie Trusty Moore. Sadie was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy was making her house a true home. A faithful wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother, she also "mothered" many children through the years who were not hers by blood but surely were by heart.

A wonderful cook, Sadie took great pride in preparing delicious meals for her family and friends, creating not just food but memories around the table. She loved the outdoors and found happiness in caring for her animals and the world around her.

Sadie was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Coffeeville, where her faith and gentle spirit were evident to all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 7, 2025 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Truman Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery near Coffeeville. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Friday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Allen Martin(Tanya) of Oxford and Billy Scott Martin(Jennifer) of Coffeeville; three grandchildren, Channing Martin, Ashley Martin and Amelia Martin Palmer(Jacob); five great-grandchildren, Hadley Martin, Sarah Martin, James Henry Palmer, Chandler Martin and Margaret Ruth Palmer; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 70 years, JT "Jake" Martin; son, Charles Henry "Bubba" Martin; sister, Faye Kendall and brothers, Bobby, Walter and Harry Moore.

Glenn Burney, Gaylon Gray, Channing Martin, Kenneth Moore, Michael Moore, Tony Moore and Ray Schmitz, III will honor Sadie by serving as pallbearers. Brad Jeffreys, Roger Kendall, Steve Latza, Jason Moore and Willie Sossaman will serve as honorary pallbearers.
