Richard R. Ray, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025. Beloved father of Lois (Lacy) Miller. Dear grandpa of James (Samantha) Miller and Daniel (Abrie) Miller. Loving great-grandpa of Alexis Miller, Avery Haynes, Ella Haynes, and Judah Miller. Caring brother of Kenneth Ray and the late Robert & Leroy Ray. Cherished uncle of Andrea Ray, Alaina Radway, Anita Wong, Alicia Hrovat, David Ray, Karen Buckholz(deceased), Robin Evans, and Robert Ray. Treasured great-uncle to many great-nieces and great-nephews. Beloved friend of Chucky Nelson.
Richard's greatest skill was his ability to "tinker". He could fix almost anything put before him. He was always very generous with those skills and his time, when it came to helping his friends and family fixing and building needs. No task was too big nor too small.
We will always remember his cars, trike, model car display, his hamburger press, calendars, and everything else that he made.
Funeral Services will take place on Monday, March 10th, 2025, at 11:30 AM, in Tomon & Sons Funeral Home, 7327 Pearl Rd. (S. of Bagley Rd.) Middleburg Heights, OH 44130. Interment Eastlawn Memory Gardens of Brunswick. There will be visitation prior to the service starting at 9:30 AM. The family will also be receiving friends on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, in the funeral home from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
