Richard Donald Amerson, Sr., age 81, of Flippin, AR, passed away on August 26, 2025. He was born on July 29, 1944 in Green Bay, WI to Donald L. Amerson and Edith M. Daniels.
Richard served his country in the United States Army and was a truck driver for Georgia Pacific. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed bass fishing and hunting.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Edith Amerson; two brothers, James Lewis Amerson and Timothy Allen Amerson.
Richard is survived by his wife of fifty years, Sherry Williams Amerson; four sons, Danny Amerson (Sarah) of Seadrift, TX, Kennith Amerson, Richard Amerson, Jr. (Antoinette), both of Flippin, AR and Orlando Robinson of Memphis, TN; two daughters, Kim Marine (Richard) of Summit, AR and Myembree Amerson of Eunice, LA; twenty four grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren along with two sisters, Arbutus Kelley of Glendale, AZ and Patricia Norman of Hamburg, AR.
Military graveside services begin at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Pinewood Memorial Park Cemetery with brother Don Home officiating.
