Grace Dolores Harris (nee Cotter) 85 of New Port Richey, FL went home to the Lord September 18, 2025. Grace is survived by son Paul Harris (Michael), and daughter Christine Gibson (Marvin), three grandchildren Sonja Bilyeu (Pierce), Andrew Gibson (Nicole), and Hayley Hetherington (Matthew), three great-grandsons George Anning, Charles, and Paul Lochlann Bilyeu.
Grace is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Charles R Harris,
Grace is survived by her sisters Julie Rasco (Joe), Claire Cotter (Martin), Gregory Cotter (Mary) and Sisters in law Louise Cotter and Dorothy Harris.
Grace who was born in Galway Ireland was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Cotter (nee Hickey) and Daughter-in- law to the late William and Pearl Harris (nee Burns) of Wellsville, MO. Many family members passed before her including sisters Moira Dowling (Kevin), Margaret Dalton (Damian) and brothers Michael Cotter (Anne), Tony Cotter( Maria), Patrick Joseph Cotter, Gerald Cotter( Maggie), Thomas Cotter, John Cotter as well as sister in law Fern Parrott (Chester), and brothers in law Jay Harris (Vivian), Gilbert Harris(Reba), Leo Paul Harris (Cecelia), Burns Harris, Eugene Harris (Anita), George Harris (Amelia) and Cleave Harris.
Grace has a large loving family with many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins around the world who share our sadness in her passing.
Grace was a war bride who met Charles when he was serving in the military in Harrogate England. She immigrated into the US in 1960. She worked for many years as the store manager for the Ben Franklin store in St Charles Missouri and was a member of All Saints Parish in St. Peters, MO and later in life St James the Apostle in Port Richey Fl.
A private Funeral Mass will be held at St James the Apostle Church in Port Richey, Fl followed by burial at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
